But the fact that there are no events is crucial information!
No events (at the time of session creation) means that redirection
is not attempted at all!
If redirection is attempted and fails, there will always be an
event.
Double check the client settings.

Vera,.
I haven't found anything specific to that computer/printer
looking around the dates specified. I did enable the fallback
driver and will ask her to try it again.

Vera, thanks for the reply, sorry I should have been more
specific.
OS on the Terminal Server - Server 2003 Standard
OS on the client - Vista Business with SP1
RDP Client - 6.0

Difficult to help you without knowing:
- the OS on the Terminal Server
- if the OS = 2008, whether Easy Print is enabled or not
- if the OS = 2003, whether a fallback driver is configured
or not - the OS and SP on the client
- the rdp client version
You should start by looking at the EventLog on the server.
It's the best place to look for information when things
aren't as they should be.

Hi,
I have 3 remote users at one office location. They all
have local USB connected desktop printers (Dell 1720dn).
Two of the users never have any problem when they connect
to TS printing to their local printer via TS. One user is
not seeing all of the available printers (including their
Dell on their desktop). They have the Office 2003 Image
Printer, and a handful of other printers, but not their
local desktop printer. How would I go about debugging
this to figure out why one person in that office isn't
seeing the same things as the other users, at least as far
as printers go.
Thanks for any advice!
