What OS is the TS running?
What type of licenses do you have?
Which version of RDC for Mac are you running?
What worries me most in your post is this:
.. when logging into a domain controller...
I hope that your TS is not running on your DC?
That is *not* recommended, for performance, but most of all for
security reasons!

Hello,.
One of the admins got this message when logging into a domain
controller. We have plenty of licenses left. The client
machine that the admin was using was a MAC (apple). From windows
machine, its fine...
"Your terminal services temporary client will expire in 6 days.
Please contact your system administrator to get a permanent
license"
Please advise.
