Hi,
Once more, I got it sorted it out, with a new little very much annoying thing.
I created an OU, placed the TS icon in it and applied required policies to it.
Among the policies I applied was enabling "Disable customzing browser
toolbars" (before that, I unchecked to hide the Address Bar and the Standard
Buttons.) The reason for this little tweaking is to prevent users from
gaining access to other network reources by typing their UNC in the address
bar.
When I run IE from the desktop of the TS, things I chose to hide do not
show. However, when users run TS published application (IE published in -e
mode through Citrix web interface) the address bar and standard buttons
appear.
Any ideas on how to disable these features?
Thanks

That is the difference between an MVP and a MSU..
I got that situation sorted out through adding a login script in GP. But I
have something else.
I created an OU in AD, moved the TS users in, applied a number of GPO's on
them (among which was the logon script). When a user logs on, only the
script runs. However, none of the other policies applied. Why?
Should I move the TS to an OU all by itself and apply those GP policies to
it instead of applying them to the OU that contains the TS users?
Thanks

Hi,
Running Citrix on TS 2003.
I need to publish a shared folder for users to share files. Taking security
in consideration, the best thought I had was to prevent access to local
drives (among other measures), map a network drive and use IE in explorer
mode to publish the mapped drive.
After several failures on the drive showing to users, I came to realize that
a mapped drive is user-based, not server-based. I have two questions:
1 - Is my approach the best fit for my need?
2 - How to make a mapped drive shows to all users.
Thanking you in advance.
Yba
Simplest is to create a batch file that maps the drive. Add it to the
Startup folder under All Users profile.
