Re: Slow Logon 2003 TS

Thanks for the responses. I have a few things to work with.

I have a similar issue to PM (half way down) in here -> http://www.eggheadcafe.com/software/aspnet/30493930/sp2-on-windows-2003-termi.aspx

Cheers,
Dennis.

Start with the event viewer. You will probably find some entries
related to this issue in there.

Sounds like a time out issue for a process trying to do
something when the user logs on or off.

Hi, during the last few weeks we have been experiencing a very
slow logon process with our TS. It sometimes takes users up to
10mins to log on. During this time, connected users experience
lock ups and total freezing of their session.

Just today the server locked up when a user was logging off -
something I hadn't seen. Again, similar scenario to above -
complete freezing of other user's session.

Once the logon/logoff process is complete, everything operates
as per normal.

I have no idea where to start troubleshooting such a situation.
Any assistance would be excellent.

Cheers,
Dennis.
