RE: Folder all user in 2008 TSE

Hi,

To add few icons for all my users in my new Terminal server 2008, we can
consider Using Roaming Mandatory User Profiles.

Roaming user profiles allow users to move between different computers and
maintain the same environment and preference settings. A roaming mandatory
user profile is a preconfigured user profile that you assign to users.
Additionally, you can assign one mandatory profile to all users who require
identical configurations. This allows you to change the customized
environments for all those users by changing only one profile.

So in order to make the deletion operation effect for all users, we can
create a user (for example name A) in Domain controller and add him into
domain admin group.

To do so, we can prepare a good roaming profile for the coming up mandatory
roaming profile setting. To configure a roaming profile, there are two
methods for your reference as below:

Scenario A
========
Roaming Mandatory User Profiles depending on group policy

1. Copy the user A profile to the roaming user profiles storing server,
share it with properly permission.

2. Modify the "Terminal server Profile" attribute in the user account
property and point it to the shared folder.

3. Create a new group policy, enable "Prevent Roaming Profile changes from
propagating to the server"
in Computer Configuration-->Administrative Templates-->System-->User
profiles. Make sure it applies to the computers will have users with
roaming user profiles logon.

Note: Only the users with a roaming user profiles will be affected by this
policy.

Scenario B
========
Per-user Roaming Mandatory User Profiles

1. Copy the user A profile to the roaming user profiles storing server,
share it with properly permission.

2. Modify the "Terminal server Profile" attribute in the user account
property and point it to the shared folder.

3. Manually rename "ntuser.dat" to "ntuser.man" in the profile folder.

Note: All users loading this profile will be affected.
