We currently have a TS box 2003 server users connect to it via windows xp RDP

connection goes to box 2 sort of like fail over?
I know two free solutions. One is Balance Project (http://www.inlab.de/
balance.html), that do load balance, failover or both (I use here with
1000 users currently between 10+ servers) or CrossRoads (crossroads.e-
tunity.com);

Hello 2K3.
I think that´s best you describe exactly what you´d like to do, to
allow us to help you better. Some things you can do, other cannot. It
depends of what you need to do. The 2 solutions i passed to you are
independent of what you use, because they only do round robin load
balance or failover servers... if that´s what you need, you may
configure any type of OS behind this solution, because it redirect the
connection between the ip address/port that you configure.
