Thank you for your response. I just wasn't sure what I read was
correct but you have now validated it. I'll steer clear of
using the PSC 1500 in a TS configuration.

Thanks,
Thomas

All,
Does anyone know if this specific printer (HP PSC 1500)
has the ability
to be used with a TS session on the remote client? Reason
I'm asking is that this is a multi-function printer. When I
attempted to download a print driver for this printer from
the HP website to install on the TS server, it began to
install an entire application (suite). I cancelled the
download. I also found a HP document listed in another
thread in this forum that listed all the HP printers that
are compatable with TS and Citrix. This printer was listed
as NOT. As such, I just want to make sure this is true
before I explain to my boss that his home printer will not
work.

Thank you,

Check here -
http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=HP%2
0PS C%201500

Do not use the driver from HP's site. This site has the MS
supported drivers.

You may need to install this same driver on your boss's
machine.

The updated drivers on the Microsoft catalog website are just
the drivers from HP.
HP states explicitly that the PSC 1500 is not supported in a
TS / Citrix environment, and I would under no circumstances
install this driver on a TS.

If the printer is a PCL printer (and which HP printer is not),
then the fallback printer driver will probably be sufficient to
do what you wish. See the following

That's the problem, it's a LIDIL printer. From HP's document:

"HP All-in-One and Photosmart products that are leveraged from
LIDIL based Deskjets are not supported. These products include the
PSC and Officejet products leveraged from the Deskjet 3000 series."
