Re: problem with RDP printing

The clients are all using a thin client to connect via an RDP Desktop session.

Please clarify if the problem is happening for all the users or only with a
specific set of users. Have you checked the configuration differences from
the users for whom the printers work vs. the others for whom they do not
work?

I have several 2003 R2 terminal servers in which users connect via a dumb
terminal to access the remote desktop. I'm having the issue with some
users
where they connect to the desktop and network printers are mapped but if
they
try to print anything they get an error that no printers are installed. It
started out as only users from remote locations as users locally in the
building have had no problem. However, I did have one user this morning
encounter this problem. If they connect via the ICA client then the
printers
work but as we are phasing out Citrix we need the RDP printing to work for
them. Any help is appreciated.
