Hello,
I have a situation where if I log in to my 2003 SP1 TS server as
domain admin, I can see the USB HP 1505N redirected printer in
the listing. If I print a test page it works then I log off.
When I log in as a regular user, I see the printer redirected
and I go to print a test page and it doesn't get to the printer.
It shows in the queue as a job pending but never completes. If I
try and cancel the job it will just show deleting so then I try
to log off the session and it never completes, it just shows
saving settings in the window. For me to get the printing
working again, I have to log back in as admin, restart the print
spool service then delete the 1505N printer from the last
session that was created when logged in as the regular user. I
have a 2000 Terminal server that works just fine whether it is
an admin or regular user. To add to this, both servers are using
the same driver that is installed on the local machine that has
the printer installed on it. Please let me know if you have any
suggestions, Thanks - JH
