No, do *not* install 3rd party printers drivers on the TS, and
especially not for all-in-one printers! Those are nearly always
incompatible with TS and can crash yourprinterspooler or the
wholeserver.
The scanner and copier features will not work over TS anyway.
Here are the detailed instructions on how to map theprinterto a
nativedriver:

2. The Thin-clients have USB ports. If we install a
USBprinter that they can print to locally while using the app
on the TS, do we just install theprinterdriveron the TS? What
is considered a "third- party"driver.

Again, no. A 3rd partydriveris anydriverwhich did *not* come on
theinstallationCD for Windows 2003.

3. Can anyone direct us to a list of TS-compatible printers
for Windows 2003Server32-bit Standard Edition SP1?

SP1? I strongly recommend to install SP2. It contains *lot* of
fixes for known problems:

All printers which are included with the OS. Just start the Add
aprinterwi
zard on theserver, and check the list of included
drivers.

So, if we have a ethernet-based printer on the network - in this
case it is an HP2015dn at IP 10.10.10.141 - here is how we are
attempting to install this on the TS:

1. Add Printer
2. Local Printer...
3. Create new port -choose Hp Standard TCP/IP
4. Supply Printer's IP Address
5. Now, we get the list of available printers and the HP2015 is
not listed.

Are you saying that we cannot use this HP Printer if it is not
listed?  Or can we download the WIndows 2003 driver from HP? And
if so, do we choose a PCL5, PCL6 or Post Script driver?

That's what I said, yes.
There are some exceptions to the rule of "never install a 3rd party
driver": drivers which are officially tested and supported by the
manufacturer as TS compatible. AFAIK, HP is the only vendor which
publishes such a list, and you're lucky, your model is OK.

Be sure to download the version of the driver from HP which is
listed in the document!
