Are there any logs in the Event Viewer regarding why the printers were not redirected?
Also, I didnt quite get this line:
"When we try to manually add a printer from the remote session logged on as
the client, the "drop-down list" does not even show their TS session."
Are you able to add the printer on the session and point it to the redirected COM or LPT port to which it is connected in the client side? What does this "drop down list" display ?

Yes, it defaulted to that, but I checked and it is still selected.
