I'm still not 100% sure about some details, but when you log on to
the servers in domain A, you'll either have to use a user account
which exists in domain A, or you'll have to create a trust
relationship between the 2 domains, so that domain A trusts domain
B.
Have you tried specifying the username as "domain\username" in
stead of just "username"?

Hi,

I have a solution with two servers:
Server 1. DC (domainA)+ terminal server licensing + IIS (with
rdp client 5.2.379.0)
Server 2. TS + internal aplication

I need to connect to the domain from another domainB with IIS,
directly rdp client function correctly.

If I start the session (in a XP) with a same name user in
domainA and domainB function correctly, but I start the session
in DomainB with other user who is diferent a DomainA don't
function. I can connect but The TS I automatically disconnects.
It is very strange.

Greetings
Jordi

I don't fully understand your problem, Jordi, could you provide
some more information?

Are both the 2003 Terminal Server and the XP workstation
members of a domain?
Are you logging in to the XP workstation and the Terminal
Server with a domain account?
Which version of the rdp client are you using on the XP
workstation? If it is rdp 6.0, you might want to look at the
information here:

Vista Remote Desktop Connection Authentication FAQ
http://blogs.msdn.com/ts/archive/2007/01/22/vista-remote-desktop
- connection-authentication-faq.aspx

If you are using rdp 5.x on the XP workstation, could you
please explain exactly what you are trying to do and which
error messages you get? Use "user1" and "user2" to explain the
different user accounts that you try to logon with.

Hi,

The summary of my problem is:

With client terminal server could validate correctly against
TS w2k3

With RDP only can validate with the same user session that I
started in XP, if it starts the session with another user, I
can initialize the session of TS but it is automatically
disconnected.

They can help me?
