Re: Shortcut to local folder

I already map my drive (C:) through RDP client when connecting.
I can work with my local drive in TS session, no problem, it connects every
time.

The problem is that I need a shortcut on my TS desktop to a specific folder
on my local drive eg, "c:\my folder". Or a better solution to access my local
folder (my PC is not on the same network as the TS).

I can create a short-cut to my local folder and it works great, but not
after login off/on.

Thanks for any assistance!

What do you mean by map my drive? Should I share my local drive and map it
from the TS session?

Any ideas why? I need an easy way to access my local folder.

No idea why it doesn't work but why don't you just map your drive?

Yes map it from your TS session. If it's your local drive on your
local machine you may be able to map it via the admin share. Or as I
was not really thinking when i posted before if your connecting inside
your own network or a suitably high speed connection you can use the
RDP client to do it for you. When you open the RDP client click on
options then click on local resources and share your local drives, the
latest version of it allows you to pick which local drives you want to
show up. Then once you connect your local drive will show up in
windows explorer.
