Re: while disconnecting its shows other user name - Terminal Serve

Hi,

To Log out the remote session, instead of Log off option the users are using
the Shutdown option in start menu of Terminal sever's remote session (not in
local computer). We applied Group policy so that the user doesn't ve control
of the server, while selecting the Shut Down option it will show Disconnect
window with user name. Here the username which showing is not the logged in
user's name, its showing other user's name.

Hi--

Is the Shutdown option you're referring to in the remote session or on their
local computer? I'd understood that they were choosing Shut Down from the
remote session's Start menu in order to disconnect from their session. Can
you please clarify?

The problem is while disconnecting the terminal server not in their

Hi, KV,

It sounds like the users are in danger of shutting down the terminal
server.
I recommend that you follow the guidelines given in this KB article to
remove the Shut Down option from their desktops:

We are having two Windows 2003 Enterprise Server in which NLB and DFS
configured. DFS to replicate the user's profiles between the servers.
Group
policy applied on the servers so that the users are able to make use of
softwares only.
ISSUE :: while the user disconnecting their session by selecting
Shutdown
option instead of Log Off, a Disconnect window appears and showing
other
user
name. So the users afraid that they will log off others login.

Kindly sort out my issue. Waiting for reply
