I would submit a bug report if I could find a form, link, or
email address to do so. After searching for an hour, I've
had no luck.

When using Remote Desktop Client 6.0 to connect to Win2000 or
2003, I run into this issue. To replicate:

Connect to a 2000 or 2003 server with Remote Desktop Client
6.0 (In XP or Vista). Allow the server to disconnect you
after a timeout, or simply unplug your network connect to
result in a disconnect.

Reconnect to the network. Now, use the Remote Desktop
Connection box that is still open to connect to the server.
Notice that the keyboard isn't working.

This may not be able to reproduce the bug every time, but we
are pretty confident that this is the issue.

If someone could submit this bug for me, that would be great.
I'm done searching the Microsoft website.

Hello David - yours is the first report we have had of this
issue. You can followup with Microsoft Product Support
Services to report the issue so that we have a consistent
reproducable scenario.

This seems to occur randomly, and I am really suprised
that I cannot find any
information on the web about this.

After installing the new RDP Client on my XP machine at
home and with using
Vista at work, I (and others) find that the keyboard,
occassionaly does not
work upon connecting to a server. We have to disconnect
the session by using
the mouse, and then reconnect again, and it works. This
has happened while
trying to connect to Windows 2000 and 2003 servers.

Does anyone esle have this problem, or am I in the
twillight zone?

Thanks,

David
