I've never seen or heard of this problem before, and it's not on
the Vista Remote Desktop Connection Authentication FAQ at
http://blogs.msdn.com/ts/archive/2007/01/22/vista-remote-desktop-
connection-authentication-faq.aspx
You could report this as a bug on the
TS Client 6.0 Feedback page at
http://blogs.msdn.com/ts/archive/2007/01/12/ts-client-6-0-
feedback.aspx

Hi,
I am not trying to connect to console. I am using GUI and there
is no option "Connect to console". I am using same settings on
laptop as on AD member station(s) and from laptop it works
fine, from AD station not. With previsous version of MS-RDP
client (5.1) it worked fine from AD members. But after update
to version 6.0 it stopped to work.

Sounds like you are trying to connect to the console session,
instead of a normal session.
You can check this by connecting from your laptop (which
starts a normal session) and then start Terminal Services
Manager. There you should see your existing console connection
+ the current connection from your laptop.
Don't use the "/console" flag on the command line (if you
start the rdp client with the mstsc command), or check in the
GUI of the client for the option to "Connect to console" and
uncheck it.

Hi,
from install of new microsoft RDP client (From Windows
Update, ver. 6.0.6000) I am unable to connect to my AD Server
(Windows 2003, SP2). It reports error "The client could not
connect. You are already connected to the console of this
computer. A new console session cannot be established". This
error appears ONLY when I am trying to connect from any AD
member station. If I try to connect from my notebook, which
is not AD member RDP works fine (same lan configuration got
from DHCP). Please do you have any solution for this ?
