Re: General Users Launch Powerpoint and Error Appears on Screen

Does the request for administrative rights only occur with the PowerPoint Application or does it happen when any other application is launched from the Terminal Server?
Does the request for administrative rights also occur when a non-administrative user attempts to log onto the Terminal Server at the physical console as well? If yes, the issue is not related to Terminal Server.

When my users lauch powerpoint for the first time a scroll bar begin to load
and it looks like powerpoint is about to work and suddenly my users are
warned that they can not go any further since Terminal Services requires the
user to have administrative rights or the administrator to login. These are
all thin clients and it works if I promote someone to admin but I don't wont
to do this. When I installed Office 2003 I did the setup through Add Remove
Programs, however I did not load all the bells and whistles that comes with
Office (Typical Install) not a custom. The APPS log the Terminal Svcs refers
to an error loading a powerpoint Templates somthing .pot. Do I need to
perform a office custom load on the server?
