Re: Event ID 1500, Your Profile can not be loaded

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

This same error has been mentioned on the newsgroups before, always on pre-SP1 servers or servers without UPHClean. Even if you can't get approval for SP2, SP1 has been out for years and has been used in server roles long enough that I don't think you'll find a single SysAdmin who regretted upgrading.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" necessarily entails "If it is broke, bite the bullet and upgrade." :-)

The Service Pack is not supported by our software vendor. I am trying to find
out is SP2 is supported yet. I am not hopeful it is though.

Thank you

Bill

Is there a reason you have avoided installing any service packs? SP2 is
already out, and there are a lot of changes made between services packs that
generally improve security and usability; it's extremely hard to diagnose
problems in servers that are lacking basic updates.
