installation of word on TS

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I have a TS environment and are currently using word 2000. We need to
upgrade to word 2003(word 2007 is not supported by our aplication software).
How does word activation work in TS? Do I need to buy a special version or
do I just buy 25 office std packs?
