The problem is the "(Copy 1)" part of the name of the local printer.
For your substitution to work, the names mst match *exactly*. It
seems that the local printer has "(Copy 1)" in the name.

One of our salepeople has an "HP Deskjet 6940 series" (driver.
anme) printer. SInce this printer is not present in teh default
Win2K3 printers list, I mopdified the ntprint.inf file to use
the Deskjet 550C driver instead - as HP told me that the 6940-
will emulate the 550C.
When the user logs on I am seeing an event: 1111, Source:
"TermServDevices" with the description below...
This appears to tell me that it is not even attempting the
substitution. What am I missing?

6940 series (Copy 1) is unknown. Contact the administrator to
install the driver before you log in again.
