Why on earth do you believe that you have a licensing problem?
I'd rather check the network and TCP/IP settings on your client.
Sounds like an incorrect gateway to me.
For the sake of completeness, I'll answer your licensing questions,
but don't pursue this road. Your problem is not a licensing
problem.
Every device / user must have a TS CAL. There are no criteria,
other than the licensing mode of the server (Per User or Per
Device).
Transition TS CALs (for XP pro clients purchased before April 24,
2003) must be downloaded from a website and are themn installed on
the licensing server, just like any Licensing Pack. So the become
part of the licensing pool and are *not* dedicated to a specific XP
client.

Hi,.
Ive been looking through the previous posts and i'm still a
little confused.
My Problem:
I am accessing a Citrix session an i get the following error
"There is no route to the specified subnet address". I PC that i
am using is on windows XP professional.
However, when i use my laptop that is also on windows XP
professional using the same network point the Citrix session
connects and i get my pubished desktop session over Citrix.
As a result i have a number of questions.
1. If the Citrix server (running on WinSev2003) is going
to assign a TS CAL to the client, on what criteria does the
citrix server assign the TS CAL?
If my laptop is one of those that was bought before April 24,
2003 and a TS CAL can be downloaded,
2. Does this licence reside on the client or is this
licence added to the pool or licences on the Citrix server?
2.b If it is on the client how do i check it is there?
Thanks in advance,
lildemps
