Yes, users can access their desktops using TS technology. The OS running on the desktop must be at least Windows XP.
For details, please, see http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/mobility/getstarted/remoteintro.mspx
Thx,

We are looking for a solution to remote users. I was wondering if terminal
services would be the answer. We will have users in the field with laptops.
If the user also has a desktop in the office, will Terminal Services allow
the user to Remote into there own desktop? I guess I'm unclear on exactly
how it would or could work. Also the server we are looking in have Terminal
Services on is also an App. server for a piece of software we will be needing
our mobile users to access. Can someone clear the process and capabilities
up for me please
.
