Server 2003 + TS with RDP 5.2

when clients open up word app outllook and pastel, while working the
current app loses focus yet no other app or background pop has it.

client at first thought system was hanging would log out then back in
but keeps happening.
I spoted the fact was not hanging and by clicking on the Grey task bar
to bring it alive it would be ok for a fewn mins, then hapens again.

I have checked for backgound or other apps but could not see anything.

any one have this before any ideas where to look as it is irratating.

Searched the web and seems others have experience this but no answers

Xeon server 2003 SP1 5 users Office 2003 Pastel 2007 (with Pervasive
8.6 workgroup) accounting package RDP 5.2
DHCP WINS RAS but non IIS
