You can use Virtual Channel to make a communication link between the server
and client.
But this need a programmer to make the driver.

Hello!
I've been asked to write a script of some sort which will find out whether
the login (using the remote desktop client) failed or not.
Why?
This is the scenario:
The user usually connects to a terminal server using the remote desktop
client (mstsc.exe) but every now and then the internet connection is lost
for
a few hours. And when this happens the user can't obviously login, so I
should write some script to find out if the login was successful or not
and
if not run another local application instead.
How can I know whether the login was successful or not? Is it possible? I
can't find a way to do this.
And yes, if you think this doesn't make much sense, ... I agree with you,
but the boss commands so...
