Many thanks, the loopback appears to be working.

hi,
try to have computers on OU, servers on other OU's etc, or have another
method of organize computers and servers. If you can' t do that then use
group policies filtering and/or Loopback processing mode of a GPO.

Hi
We have setup a group policy which is assigned at the organisational unit
level. The group policy restricts any user's shutting down the terminal
server. This all works perfectly apart from user's running XP. If they
log
into the domain with their own PC they cannot shutdown their own
computer.
How do I apply different policies depending on how they logon. Terminal
server or domain from their own workstation?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Sarah
