Re: Suddenly RDP via SSH cannot connect

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi,

What is your client and server OS ?
Is firewall enabled on your SSH server which is blocking the required ports ?
By "loopback type of connection", do you mean you are connecting from the same machine onto itself ?

Other PC's on the network are fine - I can connect to them. It is only the machine that has the SSh server running that prevents connection. For years RDP'ing to the SSH machine worked fine, now all of a sudden it has stopped. Has windows updated something to prevent this loopback type of connection in RDP?

Any pointers would be helpful.

Thanks

Colin
