Most likely your Server is configured to always prompt for password even if already entered on the client side.
Disable (or ask your administrator to disable) "Always prompt for password" TS configuration setting.
To do this start tscc.msc, open "RDP-Tcp Properties" dialog, switch to "Logon Settings" tab and uncheck "Always prompt for password" checkbox.
Thx,
Sergey.

I am using mstsc version 6.0.6000.16386 on my windows xp Sp2 machine connecting to a Windows 2003 enterprise Server sp1 running mstsc 6.0.6000.16386, I type in my username and password, then it goes back to the ctrl-atl-del screen and I have to re-enter my password (username is populated) - this is the only server that is doing this. Is there a fix for this?
Thanks,
Eric Sabo
