Re: stop high res splash screen in office 2003?

Ken,

You need to be more specific on which changes you made when you installed the resource kit, also did you install office and the resource kit in terminal server mode (you can follow this article in order to do so: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ork2000/CH011492601033.aspx). Finally, you might try asking this question on the office newsgroup and see what responses you get.

Thanks,
Roman

I installed office 2003 on a Win2K3 SP1 Terminal Server and when office apps ran they came up with the low res terminal server style splash screen which was great.

I then installed the Office 2003 Resource Kit (11.0.5614) and some replacement policies? (6.00.2900.2180 - xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158), made some changes and now the old high res splash screens are back.

How can I force the low res splash screens? I can't see a policy anywhere.
