It is always recommended to use a separate roaming profile for terminal services and workstations. Settings that are in effect for TS (screen savers, wallpapers, etc) are typically not what you want allowed on a terminal server. Many problems can occur if you allow this.
If the TS profile is enabled, then when a user logs into a terminal server that profile will be used and the workstation profile will be ignored. The same is true for the home drive specification.

Hi,.
Try to get my head around all this terminal server roaming profiles and applications and user specific changes in applications.
First can normal roaming profiles and terminal roaming profiles work together?
Example setup is.
We have users in the office logging onto workstations with their roaming profile and same users will be at other locations (off-site) and want to user terminal server to login to the office(remotely) and do their work with that same roaming profile. But nothing saves in a terminal server session with that current roaming profile.
How do i get the user to have the same settings and user preferences where ever they go with a terminal server envirornment and normal desktop enviornment working together????
any ideas??
Regards,
Shane
