You cannot filter out websites on the TS, that's a function of your
firewall.
Completely disabling IE can break other things.
In stead, use a GPO to set a dummy proxy setting for all users,
pointing to an Intranet webserver or the local loopback address.
User Configuration - Windows Settings - Internet Explorer
Maintenance - Connection - Proxy
Also hide access to the IE Control Panel, to prevent users from
changing the proxy back again.

My remote users are allowed to use only 1 or 2 applications from
the server and I want to limit the use of Internet Explorer.
I've edited group policies so that the users can't add sites to
Trusted sites. Can I somehow prevent any other sites from
showing? If not, can I disable IE altogether?
