Re: allow second session for same user?

You can try
mstsc /w:2560 /h:1024
Or the corresponding options in the default.RDP file.

However, session space for mapped view is a scarce resource, and,
you may run-out of that before the server can create such a large view.

I cannot stretch my sessions beyond a 1280x1024 size. The Display tab in
RDP
dialogue only allows 1280x1024 or Full Screen. Neither allow me to stretch
the session beyond 1280x1024. I have read somewhere that sessions can
handle
up to 1600x??? but I do not know how to set up. Even so that is short of
2560x1024.

Nothing, if both you and your users like it. But I wouldn't, not as
administrator and not as user.
Double overhead. Separate passwords to maintain, different
settings, nothing shared between the accounts / sessions.

I'd rather give users the right to open multiple session with the
same account, and put a time-out limit on disconnected and idle
sessions, to prevent them from starting sessions all over the
place.

FYI: The session window itself can be stretched across multiple
monitors if it is not in Full Screen mode but it does not support
multiple monitors within the session.

OK 'User Account' it is.

My users have 2 monitors attached to their PCs.

TS sessions cannot be sized to cover 2 monitors.

I have created 2 accounts for each user on the server.
User1/User2.

I limit User1 and User2 to 1 session at a time.

What is wrong with that as a solution?
