Anything in the EventLog on the server?
Is the server listening on port 3389? Check by typing "netstat
- an" at a command prompt.
If "no" to both questions, try with a second reboot.
I've done a netstat -an and it says that port 3389 is
Established NOT listening. Is this the probelm? If so, how do I
make it listen??? I've tried a re-boot, but it still looks the
same,
Established means that you have an active connection to that port!
How are you logged on when you type the netstat command? At the
physical console, I presume?
Can you post the line of output from netstat which shows port 3389
status? And explain for us which IPnumbers belong to which computers?
Something like:
TCP xxx.xxx.xxx.18:3389 xxx.xxx.xxx.140:3417 ESTABLISHED
which means that there is an existing rdp connection from .140 to .18
