You can do it manually, you can do a scheduled task with the utility
delprof.exe (downloadable from MS), you can set the GPO setting to clear
roaming cache at logoff. Many options.

Ok.
So it's for performance.
The local cache of the profile is C:\Documents and Settings\ ?
So if I remove a user I have to remove C:\Documents and Settings\UserA
also?

That is how windows works. You will also have a local cache of the
profile.
The profile specified in the account is simply the save location of the
profile. Windows will download the profile from there when the user logs
off and save it back up when the user logs on. you would never want a
user's profile being accessed continously from over the network.
Performance would not be good.

Hi,
In AD I pointed "the terminal services profile" and the "profile" to
the file server.
When I see on terminal server, in C:\Documents and Settings\, I see
also the user profiles.
Why is he doing this?
Thx
