Have a look at the pdf printer section:

Jeff.. I'm sure you are perfectly correct, but nonetheless, the total
amount of memory being used by Adobe Reader is almost twice that used by
FoxIT. The usage may be due more to how the document itself is handled
versus the app.
Further testing has shown that FoxIT's ability to show a pdf onscreen is
related to TS and the pdf itself. Some pdfs can be seen in a text mode
which doesn't show the graphics and some are not viewable at all, even
though they prnt correctly. All pdfs tested work fine from the console.
Thanks for your repsonse. If anyone knows of another reader which works
with TS, I'd like to hear about it. Meanwhile, I'll take the issue up with
support at Foxit Software.

How are you determining that Acrobat is taking to much memory? Simply
looking at Task Manager is not enough. Windows executables, dll's, etc
are actually shared in memory and task manager does not show this
correctly. For instance, the first time acrobat is loaded it is assigned
a memory address, all other users will use this same address and read the
program from there instead of loading it again in memory.

Is there a good alternative to Acrobat for reading pdfs on a TS?
Acrobat works, but it's a bit of a memory hog so I'm seeking something
which has a smaller memory footprint.
I've tried FoxIT, but the pdfs are not readable on the screen although
they print just fine.
TIA... ~Joe
