Take the warning seriously. You will most likely have to reinstall (I'd suggest doing it even if it *seems* OK) any applications.

Hi, folks - Googled all over for this but can't seem to hit the search terms I need -.
I've got a machine with Windows Server 2003 Enterprise on it, that I'm actually using as my development workstation in my little one-person office. It's not actually being used as a server, except for IIS and SQL Server for local testing during application development. I want to be able to connect remotely from home to that machine once in a while to save me a trip into town in emergencies or when the weather's bad. In order to do that I need to install Windows Terminal Services on the server machine so that I can use Remote Desktop from my home XP system.
But when I run the WTS install on the Win2003 machine, I get a dire warning message that the applications already installed on the machine will no longer run after WTS is installed. I kind of doubt that this is actually true, but if it's true it would be a real horror show and I'm not about to bork a well-functioning development system to find out. Can anyone tell me what's actually going to happen if I continue with the install?
Thanks,
