Re: Cannot start Terminal services manager

Q. Terminal Services Administration tool starts minimized and can't
be maximized

A. The problem is that at some point the TSAdmin window position
settings were saved in a high-resolution session; with it running
in a low-resolution session, those values position it off the
viewable screen.
To solve the problem, start regedit and navigate to this registry
key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion
\Terminal Server\TSADMIN

Delete the "Placement" value and exit regedit.
Now start Terminal Services Administration and you should be able
to find it.

After an attempted installation of a program, I noticed I can no
longer bring up Terminal Services Manager (conf yes, manager
no). Double clicking on manager results in an icon in the task
bar; there is no response when right or left clicking on it. Ctr
alt del lists it in task manager and I select it and press
switch to it does bring up a window (without focus) so I cannot
click or even close it without going back to the task manager to
terminate it. How do I get my TS Manager working again?
