Printing Across Subnets

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

We have recently opened up a remote office and are having a few issues
with our newly installed TS. Currently our users are VPN (software) to
a Cisco Pix router and then connect to TS using the remote desktop
application in Windows XP. What we cannot do is print. I have set all
users to map the printers but nothing is working.

All of our printers are TCP/IP printers. The remote office is on a
192.168.2.x subnet while the TS is on a 192.168.1.x subnet. When I
install an LPT1 printer to the remote machine the TS printing redirects
the print job to the remote machine to be printed. However, when the
remote machine is connected it does not map any of the 192.168.2.x
printers (only the LPT printer).

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Ron
