I have one XP pro machine that is unable to connect via terminal
servised (MSTSC.exe) to any of my 2003 servers. It can connect no
problem to any of my 2000 servers. it receives this error right after
login."Remote Desktop connection has encountered a problem and needs to
close, we are sorry for the inconvience" At this point you can click
close, help or send error. Anything you choose disconnects you from
the session. If you move this dialog box out of the way the session
runs fine without any problems. It is tied to this one machine because
I have tried logged in as different users and it still occurs and I
also loged into a different machine with the same username and it works
fine. I replaced the MSTSC.exe and coresponding .DLL files from a
working machine but no good. We are also using Citrix and the problem
is ocurring there as well except the message says "Citrix client
(Win32) has encountered a problem and needs to close, we are sorry for
the inconvience" both occur immediately after login.
Thanks for your help.
