Depends, depends, depends, depends. However, the primary bottleneck on most
TS implementations is bandwidth of the NIC. The more NICs, the more
performance to the client. IOW, 10 low end TSs (with one NIC each for a
total of 10 NICs) offer better performance than one mega server with 20
times the performance of the low end servers. Because, I/O is the most often
encountered limitation to performance and how many clients you can support.

Hello
How many concurrent TS users can you have on a single, regular W2003
Server, eg. 1GB RAM, a single- or dual-core processor? Is TS resource
intensive, even when users aren't doing anything and the app is just
sitting there open?
Thank you.
