I've not the slightest idea which site I pointed you to 2 years
ago, and there are a ton of different registry tools.
A wild guess would be FileMon and RegMon from
http://www.sysinternals.com/index.shtml

If that's not what you are looking for, can you be a bit more
specific about the problem you have?
