It is Win2k3 Enterprise Edition.

Have you tried simply removing it from add/remove programs, windows
components and then try adding it again? This was on Win2k3 right?

I checked the machine, it is not listening on port 3389. The service is
not
running on the machine apparently.

I am screwed at this point, and have to reload the Server OS ?

Thanks for your help !

In this case, it is no thing to do with application mode or
administrative mode. Make sure the port 3389 is listening using this
command netstat -an |find /i "3389" on the server.

I have the remote administration mode enabled. I have checked the reg
entries, and everything appears to be in order. I have noticed that the
Terminal Services "service" is not listed in the Services
Administrative
tools. It will not let me telnet to this host on port 3389. All it says
is
connect failed.

Thanks.
