Blowing away your license database is almost certainly not going to
solve your problem.
Have you checked if your thin client is running the latest firmware?
Have you checked if the problem is oslved by delteing the locally
stored temporary license from the client (if your thin client doesn't
give you access to the registry key containing the license, you can
delete it by resetting the client to the factory defaults). Then
connect *twice* to see if it picks up a permanent TS CAL.

I'm inquiring of anyone with insight into this issue I'm having..
I have a 2K3 SP1 TS Lisense server and 2 TS's, 1 2K3 and 1 2000.
I have a Wyse 1200LE Blazer that has an expired temp license
listed under the temporary 2000 device CAL's category and will
not gain a permanant license that has some available under 2003
Per Device CAL token category. I get a error 1004 on the TS. I
have tried MS 884570 but it says it can't install assuming
because it is SP1. If I login to the 2K3 TS is will gain a
license because that server is in per user mode. Any ideas
before I wipe out my license database?
