Hi,
Here is some extra info for you. Just discovered that the loopback feature
needs WinXP SP2, there is apparently a known issue using lookback port
forwarding which was fixed in SP2, see Microsoft KB article 884020.

Hi,.
Just to let you know we have got further and have got the Terminal Service
working via port forwarding.
Discovered what you have to do is set the port forwarding application on the
concentrator, when you launch port forwarding what you actually have to do is
connect to the local port address not the remote address on the designated
port.
For example, if you set the local port 50001 for terminal services, then you
would do
mstsc /v:127.0.0.1:50001
Java would recognise you actually mean to remote desktop to the remote
server on 3389 (unless you have changed the port) and will re-direct the
request to the VPN concentrator to tunnel to the request.
We have given up trying to get tsweb working as we keep getting a script
error.
Hope this makes sense.

You got me going on this issue again. I would like to do a web RDC connection
to a Terminal Server via the Cisco 3005 myself. So far I don't have any luck
using the Port Forwarding setup. I'll keep plugging away for a bit.

I actually tried this very thing and ran into the same problem. I had a talk
with MS and the problem is that you don't have the RDP port open (3389 iirc)
to that server. You would think the whole process would take place over 80
and http but it doesn't work that way. They suggested I contact Cisco to see
how to forward 3389 to my internal server. I never tried it (you can read
below to know why) but I think you can accomplish what you want by going to
the Port Forwarding section in Configuration - Tunneling and Security - Web
VPN. Good luck and post back if you get it to work.
BTW...are you trying to use that RDP server as a redirector service? By that
I mean you initially browse to that server's web RD site and enter a
different pc's IP address? That's what I wanted to do but MS says it can't be
done. You can only browse to and control the very computer that the web RD is
installed on. That really isn't that functional for me because I wanted
multiple users to be able to browse to and control multiple computers within
the network. AFAIK you can only port 3389 to one internal server so that
doesn't work well for me. If you're trying to browse to a Terminal Server,
though, that should work quite well.

Hi,
Does/Has anyone been able to get Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection (web)
working with Cisco VPN concentrators via SSL.
We are trying to configure/grant access to remote desktop connectin (web)
via our Cisco VPN concentrators. We have permissioned and are able to reach
the IIS Server running tsweb. We have permissioned terminal service/remote
desktop access to the server as well.
When we attempt to remotely desktop to the server we get an script error.
Line : 343
Char : 1
Error : Object doesn't support this property or method
Code : 0
URL : https://hostnameofvpnconcentrator/http/0/hostnameofIISServer/tsweb
Any help would be appricated thanks
