Re: Changing the default port for TS
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
Normally, I don't do it because any scan software can find out the open ports. I only do that if I have two Terminal servers with one public IP addresses.

We allow our remote users to access our terminal server farm from the
internet. Recently I connected to another companies terminal server and I
had top specify a different port (not 3389) beside the computer name in RDP
when I connected. I got to thinking that this was liekly a good idea for TS
machines that are exposed to the internet as there are likely lots of
hackers/bots looking for connections on port 3389.
Is this something that would be wise to do at all?
Thanks,
Brad
