I Googled and found Vera's suggestion to add \\servername to the Local
Intranet zone, which I did, with no change in behavior.

TP,
Now that I did that in the GPO, and I swear I did nothing else (I think),
whenever a user double-clicks the Excel, Word, or their Mortgage Office
application icon (on the shared All Users Desktop), it pops up a warning
window. The window says "Open File - Security Warning" and asks if you
want to open the file, claiming that it is from an unknown publisher.
It worked fine before without that warning. Hmm.

TP,
Since the keys it is modifying are in HKLM, would the ADM be applied
to the Computer Configuration admin templates?
