Citrix Essentials on Domain Controller?

I was told by the regional Citrix Rep and his support guy that we could
install Citrix on our DC running Server 2003 Standard. Ran install and kept
getting an installation error. After about 3 days of research, they say you
can not install Citrix on a DC. I just used the Transition Pack from MS to
convert a SBS2003 server to Standard just for this purpose. Has anyone
found a workaround? What other options are there?
