Re: Roaming Profile users having issues with Citirx App

Use regmon/filemon from http://www.sysinternals.com to find out where
permissions are being denied.

The roaming profiles are for the workstations. They are unrelated to the
terminal server application. I am positive the roaming profiles are being
copied up to the servers because I have watched the files on the server
change as someone logs out. Is there a certain tool I can use to further
ensure of this? I did try one thing: I made the person a local admin, had
them use the app, had them log out and then log back in and the settings
for
the app kept so maybe they need to be local admins? Not really a good
solution but...

Thanks for the reply.

Hi,
We are running Windows Server 2003 with 4 terminal servers that have a
Citrix app published. The roaming profile folders are stored on another
server in the same domain. Our problem is we set up the roaming user
with
the
correct settings for the app and it works but when they log off and
then
use
another pc the connection settings are not there and they (we) have to
re-enter the location of the terminal servers to get the shorcut for
the
app
working again. I am using a simple roaming profile system without
folder
redirection or anything. We have shortcuts to their network folders on
their
desktops (only 15 users) to cut down on logon times. I have perused the
Citrix connection settings and couldn't really find out any culprit
setting
that would help to fix this.

Any ideas?

Thanks
