Thanks for your reply moncho.

Our users are going to use IE for some internal web servers such as
intrAnet
and a geographical application based on IIS. Is there some documentation
on
how to configure terminal server in combination with enhanced security.
With
that I mean the do's en don'ts regarding security settings??

Do you use a proxy server for your Internet connection?

If so, I would remove the enhance security and DO NOT put in a proxy server
in the IE configuration. This way, your users should still be able to
connect
to your applications and Intranet while NOT being able to get to the
Internet.

As for configuration info, I have not even bothered to search for info
because
I do not install it. AFAIK, you can just have each user add your apps and
Intranet sites to the approved list.

Maybe someone else in this group has more info about the enhanced security
feature and may be able to help.

Thanks Again...Bob

We have a Windows 2003 SP1 Server with terminal services installed.
Internet
Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration is active. This enhanced
security
is
causing a lot of warnings even when a user is using .lnk to office
applications in our customized redirected Start Menu. What are the
recommendations for terminal sever usage regarding the Enhanced
Security
options in Windows 2003 server environment? Is it wise to disable it or
is
it
possible to maintain enhanced security without annoying the users with
security warnings.

Thanks in Advance

Older posts have recommended removing or not installing the enhance
security.

If you do not allow users to use IE then go ahead and remove it.
