1) logging onto the server
2) Opening the Security settings for the folder(s) in question
3) Changing the owner
4) Propagate/push the settings to all child folders and files. Be sure that
this is OK....
If it's more than a few folders, you need a more global strategy...

He had never stored anything on the server, so I had never changed his 1 or 2 GB quota, which saved me when he tried to move everything. ... There simply shouldn't be enough data space consumed in the redirected folders to make this an issue and if there is that much in there 'data management' needs to be explored because it is likely having such a large amount of redirected data will lead to problems in and of itself. ... I use security filtering on the GPO that controls folder redirection....
