Re: WTS 2003: Unable to login to WTS even as administrator

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

hi Chris.

Mhm...strange, i think there is still a GPO that is keeping the server
alone.

Please check every GPO (Local and Domainwide). Another Test, use the Domain
Admin and start a TS-Session from the Server to itself (RDP to 127.0.0.1).
Did i understand it right that you got this error after log in?

Maybe you should check the Groups of the test-User (with Admin rights). If
you see a SID and not a Name then the group was not correctly generated when
you add the AD.

If this is all not helping, i suggest to open a Call at MS, because this is
going to deep. But as far as i remember you have to check both Policies
(Local and Default Domain Policy) for the settings we are already spoken and
also for a Setting that denys normal User a logon localy at the DC. Again, a
Deny overrides a allow. Please check this again, if not, MS could help you.

Cheers.
